Trial jury Freddy Sambo he chastised Sambo’s lawyer Arman Hanis for asking Bharada E with emotion. This was because Arman Hanis suspected that there was an inconsistency in Bharada E’s statement in one BAP and another.
At first, Richard admitted, when the police initially made the investigation report (BAP), he still lied according to the initial scenario that had been prepared. Freddy Sambo. But finally, after the family got involved, Richard made a confession by writing his statement.
Sambo’s lawyer then inquired about some of Richard’s statements in the BAP which were deemed inconsistent. Richard then explained that at the time he was still indoctrinated by Ferdy Sambo.
Then Arman Hanis asked aloud Bharada E regarding the “doctrine” of what his client is doing.
“I want to explain that I have to ask this because it is inconsistent, Your Honor,” Arman asked, in the subsequent trial of Ferdy Sambo and Putri Candrawathi, in the South Jakarta District Court, on Tuesday (12/13/2022).
“Okay sir, imagine that from July 8th to August 8th I was constantly indoctrinated by your client on the scenarios,” Richard replied emphatically.
“Who is the doctrine? Where is the doctrine? Where are you being indoctrinated?” Arman argued aloud.
“On the 3rd floor,” Richard replied, also sharply.
The judge even had time to mediate for a lawyer Freddy Sambo no need to attack Bharada E who is giving testimony. Richard also admits that it’s hard to remember events that have long since passed.
“Counsellors don’t need to snap like that,” the judge said.
“I’m trying to remember one incident after another, do you think it’s so easy to remember events,” Richard answered Arman Hanis.
Arman Hanis continued to accuse Bharada E of being inconsistent in delivering his statement. Ultimately, the prosecutor said that Sambo’s lawyers exerted pressure on witness Bharada E.
“This is incoherent, even after you’ve gone…” Arman said.
“Your permission, the legal counsel asked the witness and pressured him,” the prosecutor said.
“This is inconsistent, that’s why we want to ask,” Arman continued.
“Ask just don’t press gini please,” the prosecutor continued.
