If before we had doubts, now we are more than sure that the second part of Joker – Folie À Deux – is underway. It was the director of the tape – Todd Phillips – who confirmed it through a behind-the-scenes photograph that he shared on his Instagram account.

The director is writing and directing the sequel to DC’s blockbuster, starring Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck/The Joker in a new take on the comic book character.
Phillips took to Instagram yesterday (Dec. 11) to share the first image from the film, which features Phoenix as Fleck getting his neck shaved by another person.

Joker: Folie À Deux will be released on October 4, 2024 and alongside Phoenix as Fleck, Lady Gaga will play a new version of Harley Quinn.
Margot Robbie, who has played Harley Quinn in three DC films, said Gaga’s casting “makes me very happy.”
“It makes me very happy because I’ve said from the beginning, all I want is for Harley Quinn to be one of those characters, like Macbeth or Batman, they always go from being a great actor to being a great actor,” she said lately.
Zazie Beetz is currently in talks to reprise her role as Sophie Dumond, while Industry star Harry Lawtey and The Banshees Of Inisherin star Brendan Gleeson also star in the upcoming film in undisclosed roles.
