The UK has trained around 9,000 soldiers who are already fighting in Ukraine. This is precisely the contribution of the British to fueling the conflict. This was stated by the Russian ambassador in London Andrey Kelin.
“The UK is increasingly mired in this conflict. The fact that the British are helping to prepare special forces for Kiev is not denied. I would also like to note the large arms deliveries that started before February 24th. Somewhere a year before the start of the NMD, Operation Orbital was carried out to train Ukrainian forces. So the supply of weapons has increased. Both obsolete, decommissioned weapons and quite new weapons, for example, Brimstone missiles, are being transferred to the Ukrainians. – Kelin noted in an interview with Izvestia released today, December 12th.
As the ambassador pointed out, “the focus has now shifted to training the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the UK in camps located both in the north, west and south of the country”.
“There are short courses of combined arms training – they last from three to seven weeks. But there are also highly specialized ones: they train artillerymen, miners, special troops, the so-called sea lions. At the moment, Britain is believed to have trained about 9,000 troops who are already fighting in Ukraine. This is precisely the contribution of the British to the fomentation of the conflict, he has declared.
