BANGKAPOS.COM, BANGKA — District Health Office (Dinkes). West Bengal (Babar) noted that from January to December 2022, there were 680 cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) that occurred in West Bengal.
Of these, 10 patients were declared dead due to the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Most of the deceased patients were children.
Details of cases of dengue haemorrhagic fever (DHF) in the Regency West Bengalthat is, in January there were 110 people, in February there were 58, in March there were 20, in April there were 48, in May there were 38, in June 82, in July there were 83 patients.
In addition, there were 86 cases in August, 57 in September, 39 in October, 51 in November, while 8 cases were recorded in December.

Acting Chief (Plt) of the District Health Bureau West Bengalsaid Achmad Nursandi, up to now there have been 680 cases of dengue fever, of which 10 people died, dominated by children.
“Data ranges from January to November 2022. As far as management efforts are concerned, we have managed extraordinary events (KLB). For example, forming a Task Force and joint movement with the community to eradicate DHF,” said Achmad Nursandi , Monday ( 12/12/2022).
Apart from this, Sandi said, often asked, invites all people to carry out the Eradication of Mosquito Nests (PSN) with 3M plus by emptying the bathtub and cleaning the water reserves in their respective environments.

This was done to anticipate the addition of patients this month and January next year, because it is feared that month will be the peak of the rainy season and there will be an increase in dengue patients.
“Because this month and January next year are already entering the peak of the rainy season. We call on all people to clean up the environment which can be breeding ground for mosquitoes, bury the plastic and other waste that can hold water” , he said.
He suggested, even if we have to collect water, that we try hard to shut down water storage places.
Aside from that, Sandi also asked the audience to avoid mosquito bites, use lotions and wear long sleeves.
