Neymar sky-high praise for Brazil manager Tite after he was busted World Cup 2022.
This was revealed by Neymar in an open letter to Tite which was uploaded via his Instagram account on Monday (12/12) in the morning WIB.
In the open letter, the Brazilian national team star recounted how he first met Tite.
“Before we met in person we played against each other a lot and can I tell you? I think you are very annoying [Tite]! Because you have assembled a team that will take care of me” Neymar said.
“You did everything to beat me and even badmouthed me. But fate is funny, isn’t it? God put you as coach and me as number 10 [di timnas Brasil]”, added Neymar.
Neymar said he got to know Tite’s personality better while working with the Brazil national team.
“I know you as a coach and I already know you very well but as a person you are much better! You have known me and you know who I am and that is what matters to me… I come here openly to thank you for everything, all the teachings you have given us given… and a lot of them” said Neymar.
“You will always be one of the best coaches I have ever had or will ever have, I will always support you. We had good moments but also very painful moments and this last one [kegagalan Piala Dunia 2022] it will hurt us for a long time” Neymar added.
According to the PSG star, Tite truly deserves to lead Brazil to victory in the 2022 World Cup.
“You deserve to be crowned with this trophy, we all deserve it for everything we do and for everything we give to try and make our biggest dreams come true. But God didn’t want it that way, be patient. God give us all that it’s better for us!” Neymar said.
“Thank you Professor Tite, for all the learning and if there’s one line I’ll never forget, it’s ‘mentally strong’ and we have to be strong in that moment! Big hugs and thank you,” added Neymar.
