Khairallah explained that the last time the World Squash Championship was held in 2008, and then I was the captain of the national team and we reached the tournament for the first time, following the fact that the World Squash Championship is an experience different from other singles tournaments, and Egypt occupies the top of the women’s ranking, and it’s time to host it again.

Engy Khairallah praised the Madinaty Sports Club squash court complex, stating that the Madinaty Squash Club complex is regarded as one of the biggest and best squash court complexes in Egypt and includes various glass and floor courts as well as one glass stadium providing supports for fans, which allows for the presence of large numbers of fans to encourage the national team. Al-Masry also praised Madinaty Sports Club for its world-class facilities and stadiums.

The Women’s Squash World Cup (Teams) 2022 was launched at Madinaty Sports Club, with 17 teams participating, and the tournament activities will continue until the 16th of this month..

The International Squash Federation approved the establishment of the 2022 World Championship at Madinaty Sports Club, in light of its distinguished world-class sports stadiums, represented in the squash complex comprising 11 courts, plus a main glass court which can accommodate approximately 1,200 fans, in addition to Madinaty Club’s proprietary infrastructure. And sports facilities built to international standards, making it qualified to host local, continental and international championships of various sports .

Madinaty Sports Club’s hosting of the Squash World Cup comes just weeks after Madinaty Golf Club hosted the International Series of Golf Championship “The Asian Tour” last month, making Madinaty a destination for international sports tournaments , as part of Talaat Moustafa Group’s wish to host major tournaments in various sports with the participation of the world’s best players to encourage sports tourism and provide an honorable destination for Egyptian sports.
