The capital’s shopping and recreation center “Panorama” has become the shopping center with the largest number of charging stations for electric cars in Lithuania – as of the beginning of December, as many as 30 uniPark charging stations are operational in “Panorama”. Investments for the installation of new infrastructure in the underground car park amount to around 100 thousand. EUR. The decision was made taking into account the growing number of electric cars and the expectations of visitors.
PLC Panorama was equipped with 14 new charging stations with two charging sockets each. Until now, there was a charging station with two sockets in the shopping center’s underground parking lot, so now there are 30 charging places in the shopping center. The charging stations for electric cars are located on level -1 of the underground car park.

PLC Panorama was recently awarded the BREEAM sustainability certificate and received a rating of ‘Very Good’. “By becoming even friendlier with electric car owners, as well as continuing the renovation work on the mall, we are getting closer to the ‘Excellent’ rating. This will allow us to further reduce the negative impact on the environment,” assures B. Kalanovaite.
UAB “Stova”, which operates the “uniPark” brand, has invested about 100 thousand in the installation of stops. euro, and the installation of the charging infrastructure for electric cars took 3 months. The station’s equipment is supplied by CTEK, a Swedish company famous for its developed infrastructure for electric vehicles, which has more than ten years of experience in the market. The project was started from the “Panorama” PLC.
“It is a strategically important object for us, with a large flow of customers who are interested in such a service in this location. We see that the demand for public charging of electric cars is increasing very rapidly. this type will increase fivefold to 50 thousand in three years,” says Artūras Satkūnas, head of the company that manages the “uniPark” brand.
According to him, uniPark also installs charging stations in facilities managed by other owners. “More and more customers of this type are turning to us. The development of infrastructure is affected by the growth in the number of electric cars and the Green Course envisaged by the European Union and the objectives set by the Lithuanian authorities. Naturally, the desire of people to protect the environment and the improvement of automotive technologies, which allow greater distances to be traveled on a single charge, contribute to this,” says A. Satkūnas.
With the “uniPark” smart app, users can find out about available parking spaces, book times, order services and accurately pay for the energy consumed. The charging points installed will operate every day of the week, during the mall’s working hours from 8:00 to 23:00.
