The Workers’ Party sensitizes the inhabitants of Chartres against the war

On the occasion of the international anti-war days, 9, 10 and 11 December, the Independent Democratic Workers’ Party (POID) mobilized on Saturday 10 December with a dozen of its supporters to sensitize passers-by “against the war and against the budget dedicated to the defense of Emmanuel Macron”.

Members of the Independent Democratic Workers’ Party had prepared their leaflets which they distributed to passers-by between Place des Epars and Rue Delacroix.

The claims of Nicole Mas, one of the POID representatives in Chartres, concerned the “budget allocated to defense by the government of Emmanuel Macron while this money could be used to finance AESH (Accompaniment of students with disabilities) or nurses and beds in public hospitals ”.

Called for a ceasefire POID against independent democratic war workers party Chartres

“These budgets still benefit the capitalists, while some are currently depriving themselves of food or heat,” says Nicole Mas. The leaflets distributed called in particular for “an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in Ukraine, the withdrawal of all foreign troops from the countries they occupy”.
