Jakarta – PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara (DANUSA) signed the Conditional Share Purchase Agreement (PPJB) last Saturday (3/12). Through this signing two companies were acquired by PT DANUSA as a diversification measure.
The two companies include 90% shares in PT Stargate Pacific Resources (SPR) owned by PT Anugerah Surya Pacific Resources (ASPR) and PT Anugerah Surya Investama (ASI), as well as 90% shares in PT Stargate Mineral Asia (SMA ) owned by ASPR and SPR (Company Group Acquisition).
For information, DANUSA is 60% owned by PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) and 40% owned by PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA). Meanwhile, SPR is a company that holds a mining permit for nickel-producing operations in North Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi, which has nickel reserves. low – high grade.
Regarding the nickel proposal high quality will be processed by SMA as the company holding the Industrial Activity Licence. SMA will develop and build caster nickel with technology Rotary kiln electric oven (RKEF) to produce Nickel cast iron (NPI). On the other hand, medium-low grade will be sold to meet domestic needs and future business development.
This corporate action was taken as one of the steps to diversify and expand PAMA’s nickel commodity business. In the future, PAMA will continue to engage in the development of other businesses in order to further strengthen its position in the Indonesian mining sector, especially in the mining sector non-coal-related businesses.
The signing of the PPJB for the Group of Companies Acquisition was represented by the Director and Delegate of the Chief Executive Officer of DANUSA, Matthew, Chief Executive Officer of ASPR, Dixon, and Chief Executive Officer of ASI and SPR, Yos Hendri. The signing process was directly assisted by PAMA and UT Chief Executive Officer Frans Kesuma, PAMA Executive Vice President Muliady Sutio, as well as ASPR shareholders consisting of Putra Masagung, Thomas Tan and Eddy.
