Rijnstate Hospital announced on Thursday it would take additional steps to prevent the spread of scabies at the hospital. This is because the number of people with scabies has increased in recent months. That’s why employees or patients who have been in contact with an infected person are identified and approached by the hospital. “They could be treated preventively,” said the hospital with branches in Arnhem, Zevenaar and Velp.
