At the discretion of the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Ivan Shishkov, effective Monday, December 12, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Road Infrastructure Agency, Ivo Ivanov, is relieved of his duties, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works Reports.
Ventsislav Angelov is appointed Chairman of the Board of API.
Vencislav Angelov graduated from “Angel Popov” Building Technical Institute – Veliko Tarnovo, majoring in “Transportation Construction”. He holds an engineering degree from Lyuben Karavelov State University of Applied Sciences and Arts-Sofia, as well as a degree in business administration from St. St. Cyril and Methodius VTU.
He holds a master’s degree in engineering from the “Angel Kanchev” University in Ruse, majoring in “Transportation Technology and Management”. He is an engineering graduate-master of the National University “V. Levski” with specialization “Protection of population and infrastructure”.
He worked for more than 10 years in the Regional Road Administration – Veliko Tarnovo, of which the last four years he was the director.
He has many years of experience in the construction field. He also worked for four years in one of the leading road construction companies in Germany.
