Ring and Franz-Josefs-Kai are temporarily closed in the afternoon
Vienna (OTS) – According to the ÖAMTC, on the third Saturday of Advent, 10 December, road users should expect temporary closures of Franz-Josefs-Kai and Ring from around 14:30 to 18:00 due to the “Fairdenker” demonstration. participants and related traffic jams are feared.
ÖAMTC experts advise road users who do not want to enter the city center to avoid the Belt. Everyone else should definitely use public transportation, especially the subways. Traffic jams are to be expected on the Ring, Franz-Josefs-Kai, Oberen and Unteren Donaustrasse, Praterstrasse, Roßauer Lände, in the area of Schwarzenbergplatz and Karlsplatz, on the entire Zweier line and at the approaches to the city centre.
