Books – Muhammad Shaaban:
A cramped room whose occupants could barely move between its four walls, its dilapidated door closed with great care, knowing what awaits him after his crime. He held his automatic ready to fire, his heart spoke before his mind with an inevitable end overnight.
Tens of kilometers from Nazlat al-Batran, in the Haram district, west of Giza, a hive of policemen were working at full speed there on a crime scene that shook public opinion, killing the lawyer with a gunshot Bandari Hamdi inside his office in Abu Rawash village, Kerdasa Center.
Intense focus accompanied by careful analysis of the information the investigators gathered on the culprit. Surveillance cameras installed inside the office captured seconds, enough to reveal the identity of the killer, who was named “Muhammad F.” And the fame of him is “Mohamed Khairiya”.
A few meters from the blood-stained office of the 30-year-old victim, one of the officers shouted, intending to round up those responsible for the criminal investigation: “We have located the accused, sorry”. Words echoed on the features of the research group, giving them an opportunity to refuse their breath in the light of the high interest of the Ministry and the Order of Lawyers in the case.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the public and the laments of the deceased’s family, Lieutenant Colonel Hani Imad, head of investigations in Kerdasa, developed an elaborate plan to capture the accused, bearing in mind the seriousness of the mission because the latter possesses a fire they will not hesitate to use, “it will remain life or death.”
At dawn on Wednesday, a covert mission headed for the hideout of the suspect, “Khairiya”, overseen by Colonel Tamer Saleh, Detective Inspector of the North October Division, with the participation of Major Ahmed Fayez and Captain Ibrahim Farouk, assistants of the Kerdasa investigations, in coordination with the Haram Division, led by Colonel Hani Al-Husseini.
The element of surprise had the last word. The defendant woke up to find the police over his head, temporarily losing his speech, trying to understand what was happening – inside a room that he had rented – to look for his weapon, which he hugged before falling asleep. the officers responded, “I’m looking for this gun… I’m also going to take a bullet out of the safe… You’re a monster and we don’t know.”
Exactly 24 hours ago Tuesday morning, the owner of the black robe, “Rob Lawyer”, went to the North Giza Court to defend one of his clients. She said goodbye to the family as if his heart told her it was time for him to say goodbye, without thinking for a moment about what was being secretly planned for him.
With his distinct presence and customary smile, lawyer Bandari Hamdi Ahmed began his work in the old courthouse, amid amazement at his excessive activity and his insistence on shaking hands with most of his colleagues, such as if he was saying goodbye to them, and then leaving for his office in Abu Rawash village in Kerdasa district.
As the sun was setting, someone came asking to meet Bandari to let him in. A few moments were enough to change the scene, to be dominated by the color of blood in a treacherous crime. As soon as the worker heard the sound of shots, he rushed in to shout loudly: “Lord, you were killed, join us?”
It only took a few minutes for the people and the police to arrive. An inspection by Colonel Tamer Salih, Investigations Inspector of the North October Division, revealed that the corpse of a 30-year-old lawyer in his office near the electricity company named “Bandari.HH” was killed under mysterious circumstances.
Under the supervision of Major General Ahmed Al-Wateidi, director of criminal investigations in Giza, it was ascertained that the perpetrator fired a series of bullets from an automatic rifle, two of which hit a sensitive area on the body of the dead man, killing him before he was transferred to Sheikh Zayed Specialist Hospital.
Returning to the Haram area, the police bureau escorted the convicted defendant – who has a criminal record – to the Kerdasa Police Station in Smart Village to make detailed confessions of his crime and possession (automatic rifle – 10 safes – 300 rounds) and the motorcycle used to escape.
The defendant is one of the victim’s clients in an alimony case for his ex-wife, and when judgments were handed down in favor of the other party, he decided to take revenge on the lawyer and killed him inside his office to justify the reason: “He destroyed me and ruined my home.”
The picture is complete and the defendant only has to carry out the inspection representative of his crime under conditions of strict security – under the supervision of Major General Ismat Haridi, head of the October sector – before being taken to his prison to await the his referral to the emergency criminal trial on charges of premeditated murder.
