Public holidays declared in Oman

Royal decree of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Saeed announcing public holidays in Oman. Sultan Haitham bin Tariq declared January 11 an official public holiday in Oman.

Public holidays are 1st of Muharram, 12th of Rabi’ul Awwal, Isra’ Mi’raj, National Day of Oman, Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha.

If a public holiday falls on a public holiday weekend, a day off will be granted. Even if two public holidays fall on a Friday, the other day will be treated as a public holiday.
