An official of the Beongsong Communications Deliberation Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Korea Communications Standards Commission) said, “The number of complaints about the ‘Godding Umpa 2’ program has increased rapidly since November 22, reaching about 200 cases.”
While the date for the review is undecided, it is understood that ‘Godding Umpa 2’ will also fall into this category as deliberation is usually initiated for hundreds of civil complaints.
Previously, ‘Godding Umpa 2’ has repeatedly aired the story of dating and pregnancy between adults and minors in the past month and recent broadcasts, causing controversy for beautifying and promoting the relationship between adults and minors in a serious situation such as crimes sex against minors.
Currently, viewer message boards are flooded with protests from viewers urging the abolition of ‘Goding Umpa 2’. Despite the repeated controversies, the production team has no particular position.
