The blood donation operation of this December 7, 2022 by the staff of the National Identification Office (ONI), is part of the institution’s year-end socio-cultural activities. This is the execution of an annual activity program according to Sié Tiefi Dabiré, Director General of ONI, which evokes a sign of solidarity with the victims of insecurity through this first activity of the programme.
« We thought we’d make this blood donation for our brothers and for all the victims of precariousness and beyond, to help them with a few bags of blood. Priority is given to this blood donation. We already have a pious thought for our loved ones and for all the victims of precariousness, especially for the wounded and the sick. We believe that giving blood is saving a life somewhere “, he said.
ONI staff answered the call of its first leaders. Marou Kaboré, an agent of ONI, is a regular donor. For him it is a salutary gesture, because he claims: ” I am happy to donate my blood. Often when I see in networks, people suffer. They make notices asking for blood. That’s why I decided to donate my blood to save lives ».
For the team of the Regional Transfusion Center (CRTS) of Koudougou, who came from the central-west to collect blood, the need for the precious liquid is unbearable and requires everyone’s solidarity.
