Apple’s Measure app on iPhone allows users to measure the width or height of an object or surface using the phone’s camera. The app is pre-installed on the smartphone and users can easily find it in the Apps section. Otherwise, they can search for the Measure app in the Apps bar. search.


According to the company, only the Apple iPhone 12 Pro, Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, Apple iPhone 13 Pro, Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max, Apple iPhone 14 Pro and Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max models can measure a person’s height.


In addition to the rear camera, the aforementioned iPhones also use a LiDAR scanner to measure heights. A LiDAR scanner can create a depth map of the area in front of you to get accurate readings. Here’s how iPhone users can use the Measure app to measure someone’s height:


1. Open the Measure app on your iPhone.


2. Position the iPhone so that the person you want to measure is fully visible on the screen.


3. Next, the height measurement appears below the line that appears on top of the person’s head (or hair or hat). Then click the Take Picture button to take a picture for measurement.


4. Click the screenshot provided in the lower left corner to save the image.


5. Select Save to File or Save to Images after clicking the Finish button.


The height measurement image can be easily accessed and shared anytime on iPhone using photos or files.
