The David Gerbier group acquires two leisure vehicle dealerships belonging to the CLC group, located in Dijon and Nancy. Recently taken over by Trigano, the CLC group had to sell these two sites to avoid possible competitive problems highlighted by the Antitrust.
According to a notification from the Competition and Market Authoritythe group David Gerber is about to resume two concessions from recreational vehicles installed at Dijon (Gold Coast) e Nancy (Meurthe-et-Moselle). Interested companies are CLC Dijon et CLC Nancy. Both belong to CLC group, specializing in recreational vehicles. This company, recently acquired by Trigano grouphad to get rid of these establishments to risk of detriment to competition. On the other hand, this acquisition should allow David Gerbier to continue his development on the French motorhome market, arriving in the regions Burgundy-Franche-Comté et Great East. The group is already the owner 13 stores and represents 40 brands in the world of leisure vehicles. The two plants covered include not only the sale of new and used vehicles, but also the maintenance, repair, sale and installation of accessories.
Diversification since 2010
The David Gerbier Group has been present on the leisure vehicle market ever since 2010. A booming sector, in which the distributor has chosen to invest diversify his activity. This acquisition comes shortly after the acquisition of three concessions located in Normandy in the month of September. For its part, the CLC group is a major player in the distribution of leisure vehicles in France. Recently taken over by the Trigano group at the same time as its competitors SL et GLAthe company owns 16 stores in France and sells 850 vehicles of all sizes. The company has its own training center and brings together 350 collaborators.
