A large fire broke out at a printing house in Incheon, and the fire authorities issued an alarm and started putting out the fire.
According to the Incheon Fire Department on the 7th, at 7:16 pm the same day, a two-story printing house in Seoknam-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon caught fire and spread to a nearby building.
At 10.20pm the same day, the fire burned 10 buildings, including the factory, but no casualties were reported.
When the fire started, black smoke rose with the flames, and 911 calls were also received one after another.
In video taken by firefighters during the extinguishment, the building engulfed in red flames leaned to the right as if collapsing and touched the building next door.
Seo-gu sent a text message to the residents asking them to take a detour as the vehicle is controlled by a fire at a nearby factory in Jungbong-daero.
Fire authorities issued a “response level 1” at 19:33, 17 minutes after the fire broke out, and raised the alert to “response level 2” 9 minutes later.
In the first phase of response, all fire personnel in the jurisdiction are mobilized and in the second phase of response, an alert is issued where personnel and equipment are mobilized from 5 to 6 adjacent fire stations.
About 100 people, including firefighters, and 61 pieces of equipment were brought to the fire site.
After the fire has been completely extinguished, the firefighters intend to investigate the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage to the property.
A fire official said, “The fire site is an area where factories are concentrated, and the flames are spreading from the first building to the nearby area.”
