OL hosts FC Zurich on Wednesday evening (18:45) for matchday four of the Women’s Champions League. With an obligation to win to preserve his chances of qualifying.
The week is an important one for Olympique Lyonnais, who are eagerly awaited both on the European and domestic scene and invited to two key events for the rest of their season.
Next Sunday will therefore be Clasico day for OL with the welcome of Paris SG (9pm, live on Canal+), its number one rival for the title of French champion, on the occasion of the 11th day of D1 Arkema , the last of the first leg. Always a highlight of the year.
But before that, the Rhodaniennes will also play a key match in their Champions League journey by hosting FC Zurich at the Groupama stadium on Wednesday night (18:45, UEFAtv) as part of matchday 4 of the group stage, the first of the return.
After three days, the Lyonnaises are in 3rd place in group C behind Arsenal and Juventus Turin, with a record of one defeat, one draw and one win, achieved against the Swiss in the first leg (3-0). There is no more room for error before going to the Londoners and hosting the Italians, as their coach Sonia Bompastor says: ” We still need points. We are aiming for qualification and we know that a win against Zurich is essential. The best way to prepare PSG is to win tomorrow. »
