In The Hague, anti-riot forces used stun grenades against crowds after fans started throwing bombs and fireworks at police patrol cars. Police cars were also attacked in Amsterdam and Rotterdam.

There have also been reports of robberies in the Netherlands and videos on Telegram show a Moroccan fan snatching the phone from the hand of a woman filming cheering fans and running away.

In Spain, hundreds of police officers have been deployed in central Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Alicante and Granada.

Already during the match, fans of the two teams argued in a bar in the city of Huelva.

After its end, Moroccan fans gathered in the emblematic Puerta del Sol square in the center of the Spanish capital, fighting each other.

There were also clashes between fans of the North African team and police in Qatar even before the match started. Organizers later blamed the incident on ticketless fans who tried to force their way into the stadium.
