“The prices of food, energy and other basic necessities have risen so rapidly this year that the social security of many Amsterdammers is under pressure. As many of the government’s nationwide purchasing power measures will not go into effect Until next year, we want low-income Amsterdammers and Weespers to act now. They already give support in the rear,” said Alderman Marjolein Moorman (Poverty).
