Roach in The Witcher 3 will be able to go back and kick off the update for current generations

The long-awaited next-gen update for The Witcher 3 will be released next week. We already know that it will not only add a visual update, but also many new features. But even with everything we know so far, CD Projekt Red has promised that even more surprises await us in the next update.

In an interview, director of narration Philip Weber confirmed that CD Projekt Red has “hidden a lot of new secrets” in the update that “people need to find”. One such secret (which is therefore no longer a secret) is that Roach can walk backwards and kick people.

Roach can now walk backwards. Or in general, if Roach is standing, there is now a hidden button that you can kick with your foot. Or Roach now raises his head if you’re in the water. We’ve tried to add a lot of these little things that people can easily find that we won’t even talk about in the patch notes.

The cockroach has always been Geralt’s most faithful companion, always coming to his call to transport him quickly across the continent, but it has not always been helpful. Sometimes she would get lost, get stuck on rooftops, or get run over by a monster that Geralt hoped to escape from. Now Roach will be able to fight back.
