Travel with family or friends for less or even free New York, Atlantic City and Philadelphia – NBC Los Angeles

If you have a trip to some part of the area pending, NJ Transit has a family-friendly deal that might interest you whether your destination is New York, Atlantic City, or Philadelphia.

These are several low-cost or sometimes even free plans for the whole family which consist of the following:

• The Family SuperSavings: includes two tickets for minors, between five and 11 years old, who can travel for free during the Christmas holidays provided they buy an adult ticket.
• This offer is valid on weekdays and public holidays only from 7.00pm Friday to 6.00am Monday. This is only until January 3, 2023.
• The Family rate: Consists of three tickets for children under four years of age for one free journey provided an adult ticket is purchased.

You can also opt for the following if you’re traveling with a companion or in a group:

• The Buy one get one: Buy a regular price ticket and get one free for a friend or companion. To use this promotion in the app, you must use the code “DASHINGNJT”. It will be available until January 2, 2023.
• New York: You can save up to 40% on trains or buses with the code “DASHINGNYC”. This offer is valid on weekdays only through January 2, 2023 and does not include weekends or public holidays.
• Atlantic city: using the code “DASHINGAC”, you can save up to 40% on the rate. Offer is valid on weekdays only through January 2, 2023. Does not include weekends or holidays.
• Round-trip bus fare will be $42.00 to: New York, New Jersey, Newark and Atlantic City.
• Philadelphia: you can save up to 40% with the code “DASHINGPHILLY” on trains or buses. Offer valid on weekdays. Does not include weekends or holidays.
