Life threatening injury: pedestrian hit by a car
A pedestrian was hit by a car in Hamburg and sustained fatal injuries. The 68-year-old suddenly entered Elbgaustrasse in the dark on Monday afternoon, a police spokesman said. At this point the woman should not have crossed the street. A motorist saw the pedestrian too late and ran over her with his car. The seriously injured man was taken to the hospital and his life was in danger in the evening.
