A Qatar-Emirati summit discusses strengthening cooperation

Mohammed bin Zayed visited Doha and received Herzog in Abu Dhabi

Yesterday, Doha witnessed a summit between the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, during which they affirmed support for security and stability in the area.

As stated by the Qatari Emiri Diwan, during the talks there was discussion of “fraternal relations between the two brother countries and ways to support and consolidate them in various fields, especially with regard to strengthening ties of fraternal cooperation for the good and the interest of the two brother peoples, as well as strengthening the joint action of the Gulf”.

After his return to Abu Dhabi later yesterday, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed received Israeli President Isaac Herzog, who is on a working visit to the country, during which he will participate in the Abu Dhabi Space Dialogue.

During the meeting, which took place at the Al-Shati Palace, the UAE President and his Israeli counterpart discussed the cooperative relations between the UAE and Israel and its paths towards promoting development, peace and prosperity for the benefit of the peoples of the region in general.

Herzog had arrived in Abu Dhabi from Bahrain, and this is his second visit to the Emirates, and his first visit was in January.
