Shirley Marquis has worked for the past seven years at the SFL Network (affiliated with Desjardins), who hired her in 2015, when she was associate director at Capitale.
Since November 2021 he has led the financial center of the SFL for the Outaouais. Previously, she was managing partner of financial and tax planning at the SFL financial center in Laval, where she participated in the merger of four companies as part of the network restructuring in 2018.
Shirley Marquis began her career as a financial security consultant and sales manager at iA and was also a financial planner at the National Bank. Her more than 20-year career in finance was highlighted by an award for corporate personality of the year given in 2021 by the Laval Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Committed to her sector, Shirley Marquis chairs the Training and Professional Development Committee (CFDP) of the Chambre de la sécurité financière (CSF). She is also a member of the advisory board of the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) on the practice of representatives and is a member of the Association des femmes en finance du Québec (AFFQ) and the Réseau des femmes d’affaires du Québec. .
He holds an MBA in Financial Services from UQAM, a Certificate in Financial Planning from Laval University, a BA in Finance and International Business from the University of Sherbrooke, and a BA, International Option, from the École supérieure de business and management of Poitiers, France.
