The first version of the Rancagua Inclusive Gala was held in a crowded Regional Theater > El Rancagüino

During the activity, Mayor Juan Ramón Godoy stressed that “we want to build a Rancagua where inclusion is not a concept, it is a reality”.

With great success and in a packed Lucho Gatica regional theater, the first version of the inclusive Gala of the city of Rancagua was developed.

The activity had the great participation of eleven institutions and organizations working on inclusion, who distinguished themselves with beautiful presentations of music, dance, singing and various artistic expressions.

The event was attended by Mayor Juan Ramón Godoy, councilors Manuel Villagra and María del Carmen Orueta, core Mauricio Valderrama and the regional director(s) of the National Disability Service, Roberto Mora.

Mayor Juan Ramón Godoy stressed that together with the City Council “we want to build a Rancagua where inclusion is not a concept, it is a reality. We want to build a city that is more inclusive and friendlier to people with disabilities.”

For his part, the president and founder of the Manos Solidarias group, Juan Pablo Droguett, recalled the importance of carrying out this activity in the commune: “after the pandemic it was difficult for us, but now we have managed to bring together the members of each institution , it took more than two years. Mayor Juan Ramón Godoy has been supporting us for 7 years, since before he became mayor.
