BTP Charvet is a construction company and public Works, specializing in the water sector, whose reputation is second to none. Joseph Charvet is behind the creation of the company in 1962. It was his nephew and his wife, Jean-Luc and Catherine Charvet, who took over the reins of the company more than 30 years later, in 2000. The third generation is on the way : the sons Maxime and Bastien, respectively project manager and site manager, joined the adventure a few years ago.
A family business, various activities
In six decades BTP Charvet has come a long way and today has 35 employees. “We master a wide range of skills: piping, sanitation, potable water tanks, building construction and renovation, engineering structure construction, earthworks, VRD and even Civil engineering, both in the public and private sectors. Our know-how is particularly recognized in the construction of waterproof structures and reinforced concrete masonry. We attach great importance to cooperation with French companies,” explains Jean-Luc Charvet.
Among the achievements of BTP Charvet, we can mention the aquatic center of Côte Saint-André. A consistent, long and sometimes complicated project that required more than a year of work.
With a team of enthusiasts, the company is always at the forefront of technology, to best meet the demand of its customers, and to carry out quality work.
The years pass… but the know-how resists. On Friday 25 November, the Bizonnoise BTP Charvet company, well known in the region, celebrated an important anniversary with great fanfare… its 60 years of life! During a buffet dinner under an awning, Jean-Luc and Catherine Charvet, managers, had everything planned out and many of them answered the call. More than 200 people gathered around the team for the occasion. The construction company being at the service of communities, individuals and companies, guests included customers, partners, suppliers or even elected officials. “We didn’t expect to have so many people. It warms our hearts. Everyone came with a little word, a little attention, a gift and this touched us a lot. After so many years, strong bonds have been created”, says Jean-Luc Charvet .
The mayor of Bizonnes, René Gallifet and deputy Yannick Neuder also took part in the celebration. The latter did not fail to congratulate the Charvet family, recalling the “deserved” success of this “family and iconic” enterprise.
To show the guests the full extent of their activities, Maxime and Bastien Charvet, children of Jean-Luc and Catherine Charvet but also employees of the company, had prepared a large exhibition of equipment. Quentin, their third child, also helped out.
“We would like to thank our team, which has largely contributed to the success of the company and without which it would not exist. We also thank all the people who came to celebrate BTP Charvet’s 60th anniversary with us”, exclaim the managers.
