The Game Awards 2022 will be shorter and better paced

Geoff Keighley knows fans are fed up with the long run of The Game Awards and promises he’s taken that feedback into account to improve the pace of this year’s show.

The Game Awards 2022 is scheduled for December 8, and according to the creator, this year will have a much smaller event and with fewer high-profile games in attendance.

In addition to describing the 2022 event as “significantly smaller” due to the comments received, Keighley said he believes there is fatigue from long events. In view of this, they have reduced the times and will have fewer games, less big games.

Previously, the presenter said that between 30 and 40 games will be featured at The Game Awards 2022, so we don’t know to what extent a shorter duration will be better for streamlining the viewing process.

Tekken 8, Final Fantasy 16, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Diablo 4, the new Crash Bandicoot and the new title from Kojima Productions are some of the games expected for the event.
