The Dallas Mavericks beat the Knicks 121-100 in Madison Square Garden this Saturday! It was in the third quarter that Jason Kidd’s players made the difference, inflicting a 41-15 on the New Yorkers. The gap late in the game could have been even greater as the Mavericks led by 32 points with five minutes left. Surprising given that the locals even had a fifteen-unit lead in the second quarter. Luka Doncic finished with 30 points in 29 minutes and Tim Hardaway Jr was ablaze with 28 points on 10/17 shooting including 8/13 from three-point range. Frank Ntilikina entered late in the game but did not score a field goal, opposite, Evan Fournier is the only Knick not to have entered the game. In the standings, Dallas is ninth in the Western Conference.
