Out of the national meeting on public health, the state government announces that among the agreements reached is the implementation of medical specialty units (UNEMES), a federal government strategy that seeks to offer specialized services in different branches. In the case of Aguascalientes, Breast cancer will be prioritized at Tercer Milenio hospitalas explained by Dr. Rubén Galaviz Tristán.
“One of the most important indications of our governor was to lower the incidence of breast cancer. Breast cancer has a margin of two years to be able to manage it without consequences, so it is important that we provide information to the population, that we have diagnostic assistance centres, which will be UNEMES, and which we will strengthen with the Women’s Hospital which is right there” he has declared.
So, attention will be more focused on addressing this conditionwhich will be accompanied by resources from the federation to provide infrastructure for specialized health centres.
“It will allow us to take care of the patient in the first contact centers which are health centres; It will have reinforcement that we call UNEMES, which are specialized units for pathology. In the fourth district we have proposed that it stays in the third millennium, there we have structures to be able to have our fourth district there and that there is a UNEME specialized in breast cancer” history.
