Lange Frans returns to YouTube after exile

“Sometimes you have to start from 0 like me on YouTube,” writes Lange Frans. “I created a new channel with all the music that was gone and my latest video clips.” Her podcast, which previously caused a stir, isn’t on her new YouTube account, she clarifies.

According to YouTube, Lange Frans violated the rules on harassment, threats and cyberbullying. The platform then deleted her account in October 2020 and again in January 2021. The reason was, among other things, her conversation with conspiracy theorist Janet Ossebaard on her podcast. The two discussed, among other things, an attack on Prime Minister Rutte.

In October 2020, the rapper made another appeal to Arjen Lubach to help him get his account back, because according to Lange Frans it was his fault that it was removed. Lubach had in his program Sunday with Lubach an article on the ‘fabel trap’, which spoke of the spread of fake news and conspiracy theories.

The presenter called Lange Frans a conspiracy theorist in the broadcast. “My entire YouTube account has been deleted by YouTube. Also all my music on my channel,” Lange Frans wrote at the time. “@arjenlubach thanks! And maybe you can at least ask if my music can come back with your good contacts on YT…”
