GfK Entertainment’s weekly chart of Germany’s best music tracks and recordings revealed on Friday that Carey’s 1994 Christmas classic was number one again in Germany at the start of December.
It was followed by the song ‘Last Christmas’ by the British band ‘WAM’ which was released in 1984.
And the song “Merry Christmas Everyone” by Welsh singer Shakin Stevens – released in the eighties of the last century, took fifth place.
“Not for the Holidays” also took third place, with Peter Fox’s “Zukneft Pink” at number three and Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ “Anhole” at number four.
