The Safe Trade campaign is already underway in the city with an enhanced police presence and new communication tools, such as a WhatsApp group where traders will have direct communication with the State Police. This was explained by the commissioner of Mérida, Aurelio Fernández, in the presentation of the initiatives of the Associazione Emerita Augusta Merchants.
