TIME.CO, Jakarta – PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) o PT KAI the open rumor about the interruption of operation of the Argo Parahyangan (KA) train is over Fast car Jakarta-Bandung in June 2023. He also ensured that PT KAI would be committed to continuing to provide the best service to the community. Up to now, the state-owned railway company still operates Argo Parahyangan train, Gambir-Bandung route as usual.
KAI is also still focusing on preparing for the presence of Jakarta-Bandung fast train service along with feeder train from Padalarang station to Bandung station. The feeder is intended for express train customers who wish to continue their journeys in various other regions.
Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan had previously predicted that the Jakarta-Bandung Fast Train project would be completed in mid-2023. He also conveyed this directly to Chinese President Xi Jinping and President Joko Widodo alias Jokowi during a dynamic test on November 16th.
The project was delayed and experienced cost overruns. The Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) records the value cost overruns the project amounted to US$1,449,603,071 or Rp 21.4 trillion.
