In an interview published in November in S magazine, Zazie confided about her experiences with cosmetic surgery. The 53-year-old singer is adamant that she will no longer receive Botox injections.
Zazie says she regrets giving in to the sirens of cosmetic surgery. “I tried things once or twice and it was awful because I have a pretty mobile face and on stage I didn’t recognize myself, everything was frozen. So we don’t film it!” the singer said in an interview for S magazine published on November 24. “It’s better to be a ridiculous old man than to try to look younger,” he added.
The one who will soon return to the twelfth season of the show “The Voice”, no longer wishes to touch up her face after a bad experience with Botox, as she told in 2018 on Le Parisien: “I had Botox once, fifteen years ago. It was ridiculous, nothing moved on my face. My forehead was in plaster,” Zazie confided.
Assume white hair
As for her white hair, she has decided to take it on completely in recent years. “There’s one questioning thing about this society for women, and that’s whether it’s cool or weird. The comments that came to me were, ‘It’s getting old, but it’s still nice. Yes, I reassure you, I really took a hit old, it’s normal, it’s mechanical, every year”, he retorted, during his passage on the “Daily” program, to the authors of such comments.
“The other even more bizarre thing, he added, is that for a woman (we say): ‘she doesn’t look her age despite her white hair'”. I get the impression that we find that gray-haired men are pretty handsome guys and that we don’t talk about it or little, and that for a woman it’s an argument, while it’s not “it’s not one,” she also complained. “It’s also one of the freedoms of getting older, is to start caring less about the image we send and the comments,” she concluded.
