In Beaver Creek, from Friday to Sunday, two descents and a Super-G are scheduled. From the point of view of the Azzurri, Dominik Paris (Ulten), Christoph Innerhofer (Gais), Florian Schieder (Kastelruth), Emanuele Buzzi, Pietro Zazzi, Nicolò Molteni, Giovanni Franzoni, Matteo Franzoso, Matteo Marsaglia, Guglielmo Bosca and Mattia Casse will be there again.
The character of the Birds of Prey is very different from that of the Lake Louise course. The speed races at Beaver Creek are considered much more challenging. Domestic hopes are above all on Paris. However, Ultner never stood on the downhill podium at the 1999 World Cup venue. He was only third once in the Super-G. After his crash in Lake Louise, Paris naturally wants to score big points in the two descents of the weekend in order not to fall behind in the discipline World Cup.
The men’s program at Beaver Creek
Wednesday: 1st downhill training (6.00pm)
Thursday: 2nd downhill training (6.00pm)
Friday: 1st run (6.15pm)
Saturday: 2nd descent (6.00pm)
