Thousands of airline tickets purchased by Air Algérie during the Covid-19 pandemic have not been consumed by travellers.
A so-called de-archiving operation had been initiated by the national airline to allow these travelers to change their dates.
This Wednesday, Air Algérie announces the extension of the request processing time.
In a statement published on its Facebook page, the company specifies that interested travelers have until next March.
“In order to meet the expectations of our dear customers, Air Algérie is pleased to inform you of the extension to March 31, 2023 of the processing times for de-archiving requests for old tickets or unused EMD-Vouchers following the pandemic”, writes the airline.
To benefit from this operation, a link (https://tktcovid.airalgerie.dz) has been made available to interested parties where they can register.
