Korea’s Mina Soo Choi beat out more than 80 other contestants to win the title of Miss Earth 2022 in an amazing competition held on Tuesday, November 29 at Cove Manila, Okada Manila, Philippines.
The 23-year-old communications student succeeded Destiny Wagner of Belize to become her country’s first Miss Universe. She also took home three gold medals for the swimwear, beachwear and maxi dress competitions and a bronze medal for the resort wear.
Australian Sheridan Mortlock, Palestinian Nadine Ayoub and Colombian Andrea Aguilera took home the titles of Miss Earth – Air, Water and Fire.

This year’s ME Loves Fauna themed pageant celebrated the 22nd edition of the Miss Earth pageant and came after two virtual editions in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The show was hosted by television host and robot journalist James Deakin with former Miss Earth pageant winners Angelia Ong, Karen Ipasco and Nellys Pimentel as co-hosts.
Born in Sydney, Australia, Miss New Earth also spent her childhood in Canada, the United States, China and Korea. She said in her autobiography of Miss Earth.
