The Citymobil company has agreed with the Moskvich plant to deliver several thousand cars in 2023. According to TASS, the cars should be purchased by the Citipark leasing company, which is part of the Citymobil structure, which, in turn, will supply the cars to the companies of taxis. It should be noted that it will be the petrol-powered Moskvich 3, but Citymobil is also evaluating the possibility of buying electric cars, but from another Russian company, Evolute.
“Earlier, we agreed with Moskvich on the delivery of two thousand gasoline cars in 2023,” a representative of Citymobil (part of the People & People company, which also operates Trucks and Taxoviches services) quoted TASS. Citymobil added that part of the cars will be delivered to Citypark and another part to partners of other leasing companies.
Recall that the production of Moskvich 3 started on November 23 in Moscow. The model is actually a Chinese JAC JS4 with the Moskvich logo: it is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 150 horsepower, which works in conjunction with a six-speed manual gearbox or a Punch variator. By the end of 2022, 400 of these machines will be produced.
In addition, 200 electric units of the Moskvich 3e model will be assembled by the end of this year. This crossover will be equipped with a DY Power electric motor (68 horsepower) and a Sinoev Technologies battery with a capacity of 187 amp hours. The electric car can travel 410 kilometers on a single charge.
The plan for 2023 is to produce 50,000 Muscovites, of which 10,000 are electric. As for the mentioned Evolute, it is a Russian brand under which Chinese electric cars are produced in Dongfeng in the Lipetsk region. So far, two models have rolled off the assembly line – the i-Pro sedan (Dongfeng Aeolus E70) and the i-Joy crossover (Dongfeng Seres 3).
