Al-Marsad newspaper: Cardiology and arterial catheterization consultant Dr. Khaled Al-Nimr explained the age group most prone to stroke.
Al-Nimr said, according to Al-Arabiya.net: “Regarding the age at which aspirin is recommended for those suffering from heart disease, there is no specific age for this, but currently, the men over 50 and women over 60, if they meet these conditions, we advise them to take aspirin.”
He added: “The first condition is that they have risk factors such as blood pressure, sugar and cholesterol. Also, if they have chest pains, here and with certain measures, it is recommended that they take aspirin, but the most important thing is that they do not have stomach ulcers.”
