South Korea (South Korea) deployed a number of fighter aircraft after detecting warplanes China And Russia flew into the air defense zone on its territory. Foreign planes raided South Korea’s air defense zone without giving notice.
As reported Reuters and news agency YohapOn Wednesday (11/30/2022), the South Korean Army Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) reported that two Chinese H-6 bombers repeatedly entered and exited the Korean Air Defense Identification Zone (KADIZ) off the coast of southern coast and northeastern South Korea.
Chinese warplane activity was detected on Wednesday (30/11) morning, from approximately 05:50 local time to 06:13 local time.
Moments later, or around 06:44 local time, JCS said, Chinese bombers returned to KADIZ from either the Sea of Japan or the East Sea. The two Chinese bombers were detected leaving KADIZ at 07:07 local time.
At around 12:18 local time, six Russian warplanes, consisting of four TU-95 bombers and two SU-35 fighters, were detected entering KADIZ from an area 200 kilometers northeast of the island of Ulleung in South Korea. The Russian warplane was accompanied by two Chinese bombers.
Chinese and Russian warplanes were then detected departing KADIZ at 12:36 local time.
China and Russia were suspected of being involved in joint air exercises when the activity was taken over by South Korea.
