The sci-fi adventure Everything Everywhere All at Once won Best Feature Film at the Gotham Awards in New York. The production by directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert thus received one of the first major awards of the trophy season. Ke Huy Quan won the Best Supporting Actor Award for his role in the film. The award for best leading role went to Danielle Deadwyler, who plays in the film “Till” a mother whose son dies in a racist lynch mob at the opera. Adam Sandler and Michelle Williams have received accolades for their careers. The Gotham Awards have been presented annually in New York City since 1991 and celebrate independent cinema.
