WhatsApp launches a function to send messages to your numbers.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — WhatsApp now allows users to message themselves. As of right now, there is no official way to do this. But now platform messaging has introduced a new feature called “self message”.
As the name suggests, the feature itself allows users to have 1:1 chats with themselves. This feature is very useful for users who want to send notes to themselves, schedule reminders and updates.
Reported by India TodayOn Tuesday (11/29/2022), with WhatsApp’s new “message to yourself” feature, users will be able to send themselves notes, reminders, shopping lists, and so on.
This feature will be rolled out gradually to Android and iOS users over the next few months. If the automatic update Whatsapp not activated for you, go to your app store and update the app first. Once the app has been updated to the latest version, follow the steps given below:
How to send WhatsApp messages to yourself
1. Once the application is updated, open the WhatsApp application on your mobile.
2. Create a new chat.
3. Now you can see your contacts at the top of the list. If the feature is not available yet, you may need to wait a few more days for the update to be released for you.
4. If an update is available for you, click on your number and start messaging.
Recently WhatsApp also introduced one of the most awaited features. This feature is called “hide online status”. This privacy feature allows users to hide their status on line them from whom they wanted and chatted secretly.
This feature allows users to hide their status on line from all or select a contact. Hide online status is available for both iOS and Android users.
