No less than four autonomous radars have just been installed in the Gironde department this Monday November 28th. Let’s make the point.
Will the Gironde, known throughout the world in particular for the excellence of its vineyards, also be so tomorrow for the radar coverage of its road network? In any case, this department has just put into service on its territory none other than four autonomous radars this Monday 28 Novemberreports the specialized site radar-auto.com. Four site radars in one day, that’s what we call a nice vintage.

Four in the same day
The first of these radar sites is installed in Mérignac, on the outer ring road, between exits 11a and 11b on the safe route of the A630. The second device that has just been put into service is also located on the A630 but this time near Pessac, exit 14-13, on the inner ring road. And the third autonomous radar you ask? Rebelote, again is on the A63, in Villenave d’Ornon, exit 19 at the interchange with the A62. Finally, the latest vehicle speed control radar that was installed in Gironde on Monday is installed (drum roll)… on the A630, exit 4-5, after exit 4c Bordeaux Centre. A device positioned just before the Esso petrol station. The four radars mentioned are all in service on a stretch limited to 90 km/h. They flash from the front or the back and none of these four radars is indicated by a specific panel.
