The largest oasis in the world has started receiving a number of international delegations of different nationalities, to see the cultural and heritage elements of Al-Ahsa reflecting the heritage and history of the region, as a cultural destination inscribed on the World Heritage List of UNESCO, through the “Al-Ahsa Oasis” festival, organized by the Heritage Authority and the Governorate of Al-Ahsa, in collaboration with the Municipality of Al-Ahsa, in 6 historical and heritage sites, and will continue for a whole month.
The festival, which has been prepared and organized to be an opportunity for visitors and fans of the 2022 World Cup to learn about the most important heritage sites in the province, and learn about the region’s nobility and authentic heritage, as well as participate in events cultural, cultural and entertainment, similar to the geography of Al-Ahsa – Eastern Saudi Arabia – bordering the State of Qatar and the closest Saudi border areas.
Heritage events
