Cristiano Ronaldo magical moments of barely made assists Portugal defeated Uruguay 2-0 in their 2022 World Cup Group H follow-up match at Lusail Stadium, Tuesday (29/11) early morning WIB.
The moment came when the game had only lasted a few minutes. Portugal’s left-back Nuno Mendes took a flick-in which was right on Ronaldo, who was on the left side of Uruguay’s penalty area.
Instead of wanting to hold the ball, Ronaldo immediately rebounded the ball to Mendes using his shoulder. Ronaldo’s decoy ball goes straight to William Carvalho.
The Real Betis player then shot for the first time but the ball he kicked was over the opposing crossbar.

Unfortunately, Ronaldo didn’t score in the match against Uruguay. Two Selecao das Quinas goals were bought by his former Manchester United teammate Bruno Fernandes.
Interestingly, Ronaldo had “stolen” Fernandes’ first goal. This happened as a shot from outside the area released by Fernandes briefly hit Ronaldo’s head before the ball entered the La Celeste goal.
Ronaldo immediately celebrated the goal. Ronaldo’s name then emerged as Portugal’s first goalscorer.
