Authorities are on the trail of a gunman who killed a man in Manhattan.
It happened outside NYCHA’s Fulton Houses at 400 West 17th Street in Chelsea shortly after 9:30 last night.
Upon arrival, police found an unconscious 44-year-old man on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head.
Paramedics rushed the injured individual to Bellevue Hospital where he was certified dead.
A gun and a knife were found at the scene.
It is currently unclear what led to the shooting.
