Russia prepares another massive missile strike, Ukraine stands up

KIEV – President Volodymyr Zelensky asked for a team Ukraine waiting why Russia it is preparing for another massive missile attack. In addition, he also asked residents to prepare for the new weeks with the threat of an electricity crisis.

Zelensky sounded the alarm on Sunday as snow fell in Kiev and temperatures hovered around freezing.

The Ukrainian capital Kiev said workers had nearly finished restoring electricity, water and heat, but high levels of consumption meant several outages.

Millions of people in and around Kiev are facing hardships caused by a wave of Russian airstrikes.

“We understand that terrorists are planning new attacks. We know this fact,” Zelensky said in a video address last night.

“And as long as they have missiles, unfortunately, they won’t calm down,” he said Al JazeeraMonday (11/28/2022).

Zelensky said the coming weeks could be as difficult as the previous ones, as a major Russian assault on electricity infrastructure has left Ukrainians with the sharpest blackouts since Moscow forces invaded in February.

“Our defense forces are preparing. The whole country is preparing,” Zelensky said.

“We worked out all the scenarios, including with our partners,” he added.
